Bourbon Street Bar & Grille was created to capture the spirit and feeling of New Orleans and bring it right here to New York City. "Joie De Vivre" is the Cajun French Saying for "the enjoyment of life." That phrase, along with the famous "laissez les bons temps rouler...," embodies the culture of South Louisiana and its famous Hospitality. This philosophy and outlook towards life and its festivities is what guides us towards our mission here at Bourbon Street Bar & Grille. We love what we do and we love to see our friends, family, & guests, everyday. Whether it's birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, showers, night out with friends, sporting events, or even just dinner for two, we love to be your hosts and have your over to our place for a while. Our History:
Bourbon Street Bar & Grille in New York City
is the combined vision and venture of 4 successful entrepreneurs and business
partners. After successfully starting and running a long list of well
established Bars, these two sets of partners saw the need for a Great American
Bar & Grille on one of the best blocks for dining and nightlife in
Manhattan, our own Restaurant Row. Together
the idea for Bourbon Street Bar and Grille was conceived and drafted, and soon
construction was underway for the blocks much needed American Bar that
would be modeled after and pay its
respects to Louisiana, Old New Orleans, and the heart of the French Quarter.
Brian Connell, Tony Doyle, Frank Dwyer, and Pete Fitzpatrick formed the
partnership that would see the building built from the ground up to create what
it is now. After being completed and holding our opening in April of 2008, here
we are today, Bourbon Street Bar and
Grille and The French Quarters Guest Apartments above us, along with each
set of partners other establishments, such as the Playwrites, House of Brews,
Hurleys, Legends, Jack Dempseys, and many more. So let the good times roll. We love it here;
